Scrawl S18 E4: Zine Week

By February 4, 2018Scrawl Radio

Hey Scrawl Nation!

Today we gabbed about Zines! If you don’t know what a zine is, they’re open-ended, open-process, creative, free mini not for profit magazines. We talked about their endless possibilities and how anyone can make one! Madeline H. joined us in the booth and talked about her zine, Shredded, which you can check out below. Give the show a listen to learn more about zines, including Chicago’s history with zines, different zines we have encountered, and how to make your own!

You can listen to Scrawl radio every Friday from 11am-noon on Radio DePaul through the Radio DePaul app, and on ITUNES by searching The UCWbL. Be sure to check The UCWbL out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Digication!
