Service Speaks Conference 2011

No class on Fridays?  Well, next Friday (May 13th), check out the Steans Center’s Service Speaks Conference.  The event will be held from 9am-5pm at the DePaul Art Museum on Kenmore.

The Service Speaks Conference highlights the work of students, faculty and community partners who are greatly impacted by their service-learning and social justice experiences.  Participate in a day-long conference featuring panels, presentations, performances, workshops and posters that reflect the impact of service-learning on critical social issues in Chicago and internationally.

This year’s theme will be Connecting Classroom and Community.  For more information about registration, presenters, or the spoken-word guest artist who will be in attendance, click here.
