Join the UCWbL in celebrating Banned Books Week! On Monday, September 26, from 10 am to 1 pm we’ll be reading from a selection of frequently banned, challenged, and edited books at the DePaul Center, Room 11013. After the reading, stay for snacks and a discussion on the history and current state of international censorship led by the Collaborative for Multilingual Writing and Research. If you can’t make it Monday, then join us on Friday, September 30, from 10 am to 2 pm for a reading of banned books in the Student Center Atrium in Lincoln Park. We hope you can join us in celebrating the freedom to think, read, and write!
