International Writing Centers Week (IWCW) kicks off on Valentine’s Day this year. To celebrate, the Collaborative for Multilingual Writing and Research (CMWR) is hosting a multilingual poetry reading affectionately titled “Love Across Languages.” From 3pm-6pm in the Loop’s North Café, all members of the DePaul community are invited “to share their favorite love poems, in any language.” So come spread some love with UCWbL and CMWR by reading a poem that is close to your heart, spending a romantic evening of poetry with your valentine at the North Café, or sharing your own work with the culturally and linguistically diverse body of DePaul University.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the other events the UCWbL has planned for IWCW. For the extensive event line-up, continue reading.
