Welcome back Scrawl Nation! This week we delve into the world of politics and elections.
Brenden Moore, News Editor for the DePaulia, joined Ryan and Kate to discuss what the DePaulia is, the struggle behind researching and meeting politicians, and his role as News Editor.
Brenden, Ryan, and Kate then parsed through the representation of the UCWbL core belief’s, such as Collaboration, Transparency, Respect, and “Anyone who writes is a writer,” in relation to the current Presidential Election.
And once again, Ryan and Kate discussed the Rhetoric of Pop: a moment during the show where a top hit on the Billboard Hot 100 is analyzed. This week features Alessia Cara’s “Here.”
