Scrawl Gets Interviewed (Scrawl S3 E6)

On this very special episode of Scrawl, the team talks with Molly Rentscher from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She stops in to talk about her current research for her senior thesis on diversity in Writing Centers.  The gang talks briefly with Molly about her research, but the tables turn when she starts to interview them.  Yes, you heard it right, the gang opens up and gets serious.

Scrawl also has their most impressive, yet still very wrong attempt at the word of the day.  What do you think?

Wow! What a wonderful episode of Scrawl! I love that the tables were turned and that the hosts were interviewed.

Molly was a great interviewer and I thought all of you generated a thoughtful and in-depth conversation about what diversity means within the context of peer writing tutor programs. I agree that in a writing center or writing fellows program, the one way we can always try to build common ground is around our shared identities as writers. Because of our focus on the individual, I think peer writing tutor programs are some of the best places in the university context to celebrate diversity.

A perfect way to celebrate the year anniversary of Scrawl! Congratulations!
