Welcome back, Scrawl Nation! This episode of Scrawl was done with heavy hearts as we bid goodbye to one of our hosts, Mariah Woelfel.
Mariah began the show by announcing her farewell from Scrawl, along with her favorite memories, lessons she learned from the UCWbL, and why Scrawl has meant so much to her.
Ryan and Mariah also discussed how tutors and writings say goodbye at the UCWbL, and why goodbye is not always permanent, especially when planning next steps.
This week also saw the return of our favorite weekly segment, the Rhetoric of Pop. A moment in the show where we take pop hits of the Billboard 100 to be rhetorically analyzed.
This week’s episode is streamable through Soundcloud at the bottom of the page, and now iTunes by searching DePaul UCWbL. You can listen to Scrawl radio every Friday from 11am-noon on Radio DePaul and through the Radio DePaul app.
Be sure to check the UCWbL out on Facebook, Twitter, and Digication!
